Auto Repair in Poway

Eric was great about communicating everything with me and letting me know exactly what was going on with my car. They also got all the work done really fast. The whole experience was pleasant and easy.

I had previously went to another shop because of a weird light on my dash. They could not figure out what it was, so they turned it off and said it was a glitch. The next day it turned back on again and stayed on. When my maintenance light came on I decided to go elsewhere and I am so happy I did. Poway's Precision Automotive diagnosed the light and discovered it was a problem with my brake system (a rat chewed through a wire). Eric went through all my maintenance items with me over the phone and explained what each one was and if it was high priority or could wait a little while. I had a great experience here and will be coming back again!

Awesome! Eric was extremely thorough in explaining the options for my 1999 Toyota which had it failed smog. The software they use prepares a diagnostic report which includes photos of every part inspected. I worked as an auto mechanic about a million years ago so I immediately knew they weren't attempting to push anything I didn't need. They addressed every item on my check list and prioritized the repairs. It took them just one day to get the required emissions parts from L.A. and complete the repairs. My car passed smog immediately thereafter. I also told them I thought I needed rear brakes. Their inspection revealed brakes were OK. This would have been an ideal opportunity for an unscrupulous shop to state "yep, you need rear brakes," but they didn't. This is critical in an industry which is much maligned for suggesting unneeded repairs. Beware of shops that rely on promos and coupons to attract new customers. This shop is clearly based on customer loyalty, not gimmicks. The prices are extremely reasonable, and you're not paying for unnecessary upsells. What more could you ask for?

High recommend if you need an oil change or more complicated repairs! I recently took my car in for a diagnostics check mainly because I had suspicion that my tire alignment was off and oil leaks. Eric is very knowledgeable and straightforward on what which repairs were absolutely urgent and which were not. He even took extra care with changing out my fog lights and etc, and was always communicative. As a woman with very limited knowledge or interests in cars, I felt completely comfortable and confident that he wasn't trying to overcharge or oversell me. I have since referred my sister and several coworkers to take their cars to Poway's Precision Automotive. Do yourself a favor and let Eric and his team take care of your cars because I am beyond happy that I did.

Just did some very expensive repairs to my car and I couldn't be more satisfied. PPA did an amazing job keeping me updated on my car almost every day and were very honest. They didn't try to push anything on me and my payment was completely justified. They also provided me with a loaner car while my car was being repaired. I will be coming here from now on for all my car's needs. Thanks PPA!

Precision Automotive did a great job fixing my car with engine light on. They check my car thoroughly and fix whats needed to be fix. They made sure everything is in shape before they gave it back to me. Eric is very nice and have updated me regularly and explained to me what's needed to be done! Honest shop. They're not the cheapest but they fix it right and clearly explain their estimate. I just brought my F350 diesel there for a fuel injector problem and they did a great job. There aren't but a few shops in the area that work on diesels and this is a good one.
