Auto Repair in Poway

So glad I found this place. Being a woman it is sometimes hard to know if you are being taken advantage of when it comes to cars. This place is the best. They are very honest and helpful. I thought that I would need new shocks or struts and they basically said if you are not going to hang on to it for a long time then don't bother replacing them as it is a cost you won't get your money back on. It's great to have a place you know you can trust to take your car in. They seem reasonable and ready to help you out!

I have had work done there many times and they are always courteous and polite. The work was always completed before they promised. The estimates were always accurate and always tried to get the best prices on replacement parts. They also noticed my military window sticker and gave me a military discount. Two thumbs up!

I am downgrading PAA 1 star after my smog check experience. I waited about a month for them to get the smog machine fixed because I trusted PAA and I also wanted to support local business. My 95 Acura failed the smog and PAA will charge $100 (with $50 discount) for the diagnosis. And to get a free retest, I have to get my car repaired at PAA. I swallowed the $40 I paid for the test and went to the shop I always went to because they charge $65 for diagnosis and the fee will be waived if I get repairs done there. Simple math, I was not paying $100 to save $40. The bottom line is if you have an older car that may fail the smog I don't recommend coming here.

I had an exceptional experience coming here today. I needed to get a smog check done for my California registration and Brian and his crew were very courteous and extremely accommodating. I will definitely be coming back here if I need smog services in the future. I was in and out with the check completed in a little less than 15 minutes! Very good service. When you talk to Brian you'll get a trustworthy and honest assessment of your vehicle, not a sales pitch. In my recent 100K mile checkup he pointed out three things that could be serviced, but he helped me make a decision on what should be done now and what could wait, regardless of price. I'll definately be back for repeat services for both my vehicles. These guys have it figured out.

Brian and his staff at Poway's Accurate Automotive really know what they are doing. They came highly recommended from a coworker who called ahead and booked me a lunch appointment for a smog I had been putting off (and putting off)... Brian was expecting me when I arrived. The manager offered to put in the catalytic convertor for no charge when he learned how unhappy I was with the results of my smog test. And they took me out side and showed me how the thing was improperly installed, and why they said it was tampered with. So they can't be all bad.

They also figured out why my monitors were blanking out and my check engine light was coming on. It all worked out in the end, and we learned a valuable lesson about letting your battery get too close the engine mount.

I love this place they saved me a bunch of money. I am so happy discount tire referred me to them. I wish I knew about them sooner I could've saved so much money. I will go to them from now on.
